Sunday Morning

It’s 5:45 in the morning, and I’m getting ready for church.  I’ve showered, washed my hair, gotten dressed, and am having coffee . . . getting ready for church.  Now, granted, I’m not dressed in my best skirt suit, with a big, proud hat atop my head (I’m in jeans . . . ), but I’m still on my way to church.  And, the six days prior to this day were all spent, at least in part, getting ready for church.  There were meetings, rehearsals, emails, power points, phone calls and a million other things to do to make this day, like we do it at my, church possible.

It’s Sunday morning, and folks all over the world are going to church.  Some underground; some for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day; some will go twice today; some will experience it in bed with the TV or internet; some will have it like a small gathering in their homes; some will wish they could go, but are too sick, too tired, or too something else.  Still, it’s Sunday morning, and people are going to church, or have been already, like in Africa.  It’s Sunday.  It’s Sunday.   And, I’m going to church so I can learn more about how to BE the Church Monday through Saturday!  It’s Sunday!

Peace and Blessings,

Nic
