Let’s Hear it for the Boys!

Let me begin by saying happy summer ladies! I pray you’ve all had the time of your lives vacationing with family, connecting with old and new friends, treating yourself, and loving your life. Nicole and I have been doing some of that ourselves but were back and ready to hit you with a sizzling new issue of My Goodness Magazine completely dedicated to men. That’s right ladies! This issue is all about the boys, fathers, brothers, kings, husbands and men in our lives. Strap yourself in because it may get a little bumpy this go round.

Nicole has written a beautiful and truthful experience guaranteed to break your heart wide open, so make sure you have your Kleenex. She introduces us to the man who gave her a powerful and loving foundation, her father Pastor Robert Conard. You’ll find this awesome story our Fill Your Spirit section. Once you’re complete there, stop by Free Your Mind, where I do my best to encourage and offer guidance to women who are struggling in relationships with men. It’s a tender topic for many of us, and you’ll discover healing is necessary and available. Now, hold the presses because we have a celebrity in our midst this issue, in the Find Your Flow section, beloved Coach Mac former head coach of the Colorado University Buffs football and founder of Promise Keepers. He rocks in his interview, explaining and exhibiting many of the things we love about men. Lastly, in the Feed Your Soul section, you’ll do just that with the creative expression and gift of Ayinde Russell, author, poet and musician. Ayinde has opened his heart and like a modern day David. We also have an additional interview with Marc Walters, Nicole’s husband, as he shares his thoughts on manhood, fatherhood, and personhood. We are blessed and fortunate to have assembled such an amazing group of men to share with and about. I’m certain you’ll be blessed as well.

Don’t let me keep you any longer. You’ve got some reading and relaxing to do. As I said, this issue is sizzling hot, if you catch fire, take a moment and pass the flame with everyone you believe can use a little heat. And don’t forget to give us your feedback, ideas, blessings and healing stories. We need to know we are serving you well, the way God is leading us to do.
